Welcome to the 2nd CEE LUMEN International Conference | MEPDEV 2016
2nd edition of Central & Eastern European LUMEN International Scientific Conference is a manifestation with multidisciplinary character, whose general objective is to promote scientific excellence, encouraging original researches.
This CEE LUMEN International Conference aims to highlight and bring in debate the current frameworks of multidimensional education and professional development, under the considerations of ethical valuing, in a Central and Eastern European multicultural context.
We wish to bring together different research studies in social sciences and humanities which, through a rigorous and innovative methodology, to respond integrated to the need for innovation in these areas.
The conference aims at presenting, disseminating and promoting international scientific research results, and increase the international visibility of research activity.
We aim at facilitating dialogue between practitioners, academics and students on current issues, affiliated to various educational and research institutions, facilitating dialogue in the sphere of social sciences and humanities, within Central and Eastern Europe space.
LUMEN Conference Center | Who we are & what we do!
LUMEN Conference Center started its activity in 2010, with the mission to provide professional management for conferences organized by the LUMEN Research Center for Social and Humanistic Sciences.
The purpose of the Centre is to disseminate information from research conducted by academics and undergraduate, master, doctoral, post-doctoral students, practitioners, in an organized framework, where they can share ideas and lay the groundwork for fruitful professional collaboration with specialists from the country and abroad.
Under the umbrella of the LUMEN Conference Centre there are organized national and international conferences, symposia, workshops, scientific discussions.
The attention of the LUMEN Conference Centre experts on logistics and planning details allows the Scientific Board to focus on the scientific event content, ensuring a high degree of professionalism.

The volume will be published only in Romanian. LUMEN Publishing is CNCS acknowledged, in B Category. The volume is only published if there are at least 20 articles. In this volume we can publish also Romanian versions of the articles published in English in other journals, under LUMEN or its international partners, in which case it is added a supplementary processing fee of 30 euros. In case the author wishes to publish a paper in Romanian, already published in journals in English, it is required to have a supplementary scientific contribution of at least 30% of the initially published text, and an acknowledgment that mentions it.
